BRPASW 2007 Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of the Business Recovery Planners Association of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. (BRPASW) are elected by members of the association. Here are the Directors for the 2007 program year:



Chris Rohrs, President
Chris has been in the data processing/information technology field for more than 30 years. He started as a programmer for Amoco Oil Company in Chicago, coding aand running programs on punched cards on an IBM-360. Chris and his family moved to San Francisco, where he worked for more than 20 years for The Bank of America, Federal Reserve Bank and Charles Schwab as a team leader, project manager, testing expert, and in his passion business continuity. He helped bring in many new technologies, revamped project management process, made major improvements in testing processes, and many contributions to business continuity. He was a member of the board of BRMA (Business Recovery Managers Association (www.brma.com). Chris is a Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP).

Chris has worked for MGIC (Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation) for almost 3 years as one of their two business continuity consultants. With his coworker, he is responsible for everything related to business continuity - plan maintenance, exercises and walkthrus, user education, planning, troubleshooting, interfacing with many technical units, etc.

Chris' education was a long strange trip through military history, philosophy, and sociology to business and data processing. He has some graduate work in project and business management. His hobbies are science fiction, working with stained glass, politics, cooking and web surfing.


Doloris Eggert, Vice-President
Doloris has lived in the Milwaukee area her entire life. She has been in the data entry processing/information technology field for over 30 years. She started as a data entry operator at Blue Cross Blue Shield.

While her family was young she worked part-time for the old Lutheran Hospital as a data entry/back-up computer operator. When Lutheran was acquired by Aurora Health Care, she joined their team as a computer operator, moving into the Help Desk area and doing coding for printing of AFP documents. From there she moved into computer security, issuing printer and login ID’s, and passwords.

Leaving Aurora after 18 years of service she joined the Thomson Financial family as a Business Continuity and Planning Analyst. Doloris received her CBCP in April 2001 and has been with Thomson Financial in her Business Continuity role for the last eight years. Since joining Thomson Financial, she has coordinated their DR drills, written and revised the DR procedures and served on the committee for the building of their own DR recovery site.

Robert Powell, Treasurer
Rob has been in the information processing field for over 15 years. His background includes mainframe computer programming, business planning, quality control, product management, sales, and corporate & foundation fundraising.

He has been employed by Metavante Corporation since 1998 and has spent the last five years in the business continuity area. He has been involved with many full-scale corporate exercises and has trained new employees on the topic of disaster recovery and business recovery planning.

Rob holds a BA degree in Zoology and an MBA in Management. He is a Certified Recovery Planner (CRP) and is the treasurer of the Business Recovery Planners Association of Southeast Wisconsin (BRPASW). Rob serves on the board of BRPASW, the Foundation for Heart Science, and the Northern Cross Science Foundation. He is a member of the Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers, and the NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory Saturn Observation Campaign.


Don Groth, Secretary
Don has over 25 years of extensive technical, business, and management experience in business continuity planning, information systems auditing, information systems implementations, and project management. Don has been with the Milwaukee office of Jefferson Wells since 2003. He previously worked for a major utility in systems development and in IT Auditing, and with a systems integration firm as a consultant and project manager.

Don has led many organizations in the development of business continuity plans. These projects have included Threat Assessments, Business Impact Analysis, Strategy Selection, and Plan Development. Don has planned and facilitated continuity plan exercises and has evaluated many Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans.

Don is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). He has a BS in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, and is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Don is the Secretary of the Business Recovery Planners Association of Southeastern Wisconsin (BRPASW), and has previously served as Treasurer and on the Program Committee.


Raymond Krukowski, Past President
Ray has been in the data processing/information technology field for over 35 years. His background includes operations, voice and data networking, technical support, planning, hardware asset management and business continuity with a variety of companies and industries.

Ray has worked at Metavante for 17 years and has spent the last 8 years in the business continuity area. He has coordinated many extensive exercises that included organizing the recovery activities for multiple locations and multiple platforms, with multiple customers validating their data and functionality.

Ray has given presentations on the topic of disaster recovery and business continuity to local and regional conferences over the past several years. In addition, Ray is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) and is a participating member in the Business Recovery Planners Association of Southeast Wisconsin (BRPASW) in Milwaukee; the Business Recovery Planners Association (BRPA) of Chicago; and the Chicagoland SunGard Continuity Exchange.
